Place value, comparing and rounding numbers, fractions and decimals.

  • Round to the nearest 1,000
  • Place value to 100,000s
  • Odd and even numbers
  • Order five-digit numbers

Try some 4th Grade questions

These are the kind of questions in the check. Every check has fresh numbers, so your child will not have seen them before.

Numerical representations and relationships

Round 26,536 to the nearest 1,000.

  • 27,000
  • 26,000
  • 26,500
  • 28,000
Show the answer

27,000. Look at the hundreds digit: it rounds to 27,000.

Computations and algebraic relationships

5,641 + 3,056 = ?

Show the answer

8697. Line up the place values and regroup: 8,697.

Geometry and measurement

What is the area of this rectangle?

8 in3 in
Show the answer

24 in². Area = length × width = 8 × 3 = 24.
